Welcome to the Road Blog!
It's 4 AM but I'm still up getting some last minute work done. Ted, Jerry, and Lisa are all asleep, and I'm kicking myself for not having better time management skills and for taking on too many projects at once. Then again, I realize that some things are more important than life than sleep, especially when I'm not going to be here for a while. (And don't worry, I promise I won't drive until I get some sleep.)
A few quick notes on how this blog works:
A) One of us will try to post to the blog daily. Technically it's a mobile blog, or a "moblog", as we are sending posts through a cell phone (who the heck wants to say "moblog"?!). So the entries will be mainly pictures and rather short. Ted will surprise us by underwhelming our expectations.
B) This blog will be read by family and friends, so everything will be rated preferably PG, maybe PG-13. (Hi Mom! Hi Dad! I love you!)
C) Please comment on the blog! Comments will be sent to my cell phone as well, so it' d be great to hear from you as we're on the road. (still need to test it)
D) We are limited by technology, so please don't worry if we don't update this thing for a few days. We are probably fine, but just without cell phone reception.
E) Please send your address if you want a postcard. Preferably, text my phone, or leave the addy in a comment.
Off to bed. I am exhausted, and it's my last late night at 307... I'm going to miss this place and the people here.
I'm too tired to be sentimental.
